JS Jobs not working as it should? was created by jasper

I was very excited when installing this component because it has so much potential.
Now some things are not working.

When creating a backend menu item joomla comes up with:
XML Parsing Error at 1:1. Error 4: Not well-formed (invalid token)

Every URL created in the backend comes with a 500 error in the frontend.

Joomla 1.5.18 with latest JOBS component.

Any ideas?

JS Jobs work fine at back-end and front-end.

Found it.
Do not make links in the backend but make an \"external url\" with:

index.php?option=com_jsjobs&c=jsjobs&view=jobseeker

The the system comes up with the list to choose from and you can continue.
Still the creation of menu links in the backend aren\'t working
