Bug after WordPress 4.9.6 Update

5 years 9 months ago #5565 by Brian Knight
Recently, I started receiving an error when trying to update code in the WordPress editor (ie styles.css)... The error received is thus:

Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.

After deactivating all my plugin's and reinstalling them one-by-one, I discovered that it was the JS Support Ticket plugin 2.0.4 (free version) that was giving me the issues... Researching, I found that this has been an issue for many plugin's after the WordPress 4.9.6 update....

I am using the Relia theme 1.1.2 (child theme). PHP: 7.1.1 MySQL: 5.5.28...

Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Awesome plugin.
