Hi I see this topic is a bit outdated and I presume some things are different now. My question is similar however.

I would like to make the Keywords filed in the Apply Job not mandatory.
I have tried in the resume/ User fields but it will not allow me to make change the required status.

Could you tell me which file to make the change and what do I have to change. I have the tried t ...ts/com_jsjobs/views/resume/tmpl/view_resume.php

But cannot find the input.
I am currently using the pro version 1.1.0.0 - b

Hi,

You need to change value in fieldsordering table.

Open _js_jobs_fieldsordering table
Find keywords fields where field for 3 or 13 (it may repeat multiple time)
Set required = 0
And sys = 0
