Hi,
How do we add unique code for each job????
I've added a new user field. Now i want to make this field unique (auto increment) just like primary key for any table.

Hi,

JS Jobs have already primary/unique field (id) in all table.
You may use this field 'id' for your purpose.

But that 'id' field will take only integer values right??? I wanna use a combination of numbers n letters also in the jobid/jobcode.

You may create a new field in database, and write code according to your need.

Hi,

User fields use for input date from user.
If you need field for system purpose, create a new field in table, do not use user field.
