We run a community website for residents here in SW London. Residents who are website members have to login in order to submit helpdesk tickets where they can choose from a number of internal departments before submitting a helpdesk ticket.
We also use the helpdesk Add Ticket (using shortcode '[jssupportticket_addticket]') as an external contact form for visitors to ask questions, but we do not publish the drop down list of Departments on the visitor form as it is on a public page.
I would like to know how tickets submitted via the visitor Add Ticket form can have a Default Department (in out case 'General Enquiry') applied to them on creation? This question also applies to tickets created by the 'Ticket via Email' feature.
Also does anyone know how I can create a stripped down version of the Add Ticket form for our visitors? The form generated by the shortcode is still very large for our two column page.
